The athletic meet of the Sri Lanka University Games (SLUG) 2019 was held on the 27th and 28th of July at the Sugathadasa International Stadium successfully. All the universities played fiercely, and they gave a good challenge to each other.

Sabaragamuwa conquers the Sri Lanka University Athletics championship 2019
14 new meet records were smashed at the Athletic meet of Sri Lanka university Games 2019 which was held on the 27th and 28th of July at the Sugathadasa International Stadium. University of Sabaragamuwa (SAB) dominated almost all the events thus ‘Sabare’ has been crowned with 7 overall championship.

Univeristy of Kelaniya beat University of Ruhuna 27 to 12 points in the opening quarterfinals game while University of Colombo Cruised past University of Sri Jayawardhenepura 41 points to 06 today at the Koggala BOI grounds.
